Tired? 

No matter how much I try to relax around my busy schedule; taking [coffee] breaks, deep breathing, naps, going to bed earlier - one can never quite catch up to our rest. It's like a never-ending cycle (lol)- but when I seek God, I obtain peace in my heart which allows me to rest. I don't know how -it's unexplainable how miraculously God works. 

My heart aches for those that are in emotional or physical exhaustion or pain, for they do not know their burden can be given to the Lord to handle as He carries us through it all. I hurt for those that believe they are 'happy' yet they are still going through life thinking "what is my purpose here? what's the point of life?" or others that feel that it's all about 'living it up' for themselves (which most times includes committing sin) and when their time comes - that's it - Game Over. That used to be me. 

There's so much more to life with Jesus that so many miss out on, obliviously. The point of life here is that we all have a purpose that God has set for us and we must seek His will for our lives. After all, He created us in his image. 

God never gets tired of waiting for us to come to Him. He has a never-ending love for us. His desire is for us to seek Him, Love Him, Glorify Him, and to worship Him. While we live according to His will for us, obeying His commands and accepting Him in our lives - He is preparing a special place for us in Heaven. That is the ultimate resting place we should all set our GPS to; there is no burden, no pain, no struggle, no tiredness there - only infinite love, life, light, celebration, heavenly family, worship and so much more wonderfulness that our minds are incapable of fully comprehending until we experience it. 

YOLO-SLIC- You Only Live Once So Live In (for) Christ! 

Gods says the following to us - Matthew 11:25-29 (NIV): 

25 At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. 26 Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.

27 “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Tired? Get your rest through Christ. 

Are you ready to be judged?!

If you are ready to live by God's one and only true law, then close your eyes, open your heart to Him and let Him know that you accept Him as your Lord and Savior and ask God to reveal your short-comings to you as you allow Him to work through you. Seek guidance in your new walk of faith from your Pastor and your brothers and sisters in Christ. I am here for you! Xoxo

Life Prayer

 Lord-

How blessed I feel today! I love you more than works can say.

You know my heart, you lead my life, we will never part.

The joy I that I feel makes my eyes welt, and my heart melt.

The love that emits from you through brothers and sisters of the congregation,

And from all that you do in my life, it's a connection that will not be shaken.

Forever you reign, forever I worship and follow you.

Lord how you bless us, and how we love to bless others.

I’m truly grateful and honored to know that you are my Savior,

No other is worthy or most high like you are.

I love you Jesus, guide us, protect us, watch over us!

Use me for your purpose, use me as your messenger, help me to be more like you.

Your Holy word is my shield and the world my battlefield.

Wanting to win lives for you Jesus - by planting those seeds and pulling out those weeds.

Lord I pray that you humble me, keep me selfless;

What I do is for You and not for me,

The way that You use me is for You and not for me,

What I do is for Your glory to bring You joy, NOT for me.

My reward is You Lord, eternal life with You Jesus – no other gift is greater nor as important.

Blessed Day

God places people in our lives for a reason. (I love you)
Feeling blessed.
I know that everyday is different - we have our highs and lows,
Its how we handle things,
Asking God to handle things,
This is usually what makes our days what they are.

And it's o.k., you know, either way - I will take it.
Do you know why?
It's because that's how our Sovereign God meant for it to be.
Predetermination.

Let's make a difference today, let's let God's light shine through.
Holy Spirit guide us, lead us in all that we do, in all that we say, in all that we ponder,
In how we interact with others and how we are there for others.

Keep us genuine, keep our focus on You Jesus.

Amen.

The "End" and The "Beginning"

God's Big Bang

Getting ready for work this morning while hearing the news that just said they have a magnetic telescope that recorded images of what they *think* could be proof of the Big Bang theory... Well I *KNOW* that my God created this world in 6 days and rested on the seventh and He later sent His only Son to sacrifice His life here on earth for the forgiveness of our sins so that we may be saved by His grace and have eternal life. The proof is our 2000+ year old #1 history book, The Holy Bible and of course the prophetic (and witnessed) works of Jesus! And there's more!! If you want to KNOW God, open up that Bible and surround yourself with Christians that can teach you or lead you in the right direction. 

You know I have thought that maybe God's creation is the 'big bang', but most folks that believe in the Big Bang theory don't want to believe that it was the work of God. They are looking for something to believe in - since creation, God instilled that need in us to believe and worship Him.

God's Instructions for Us

Colossians 2:8- "See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ". Paul reminds us of what Jesus did for us, dying on the cross for us so that we may believe and be saved. We are also reminded to live honest, caring, Christ-like lives. God will come and we will need to be ready for Him living by His Holy Word or suffer His wrath. Join me in studying and learning from Colossians 1-4 about our instructions for Holy living.
