Feeling humble, happy, blessed...

Thanking our dear Lord for all of these feelings to even be possible. There are some wonderful people that He continues to place in my life and I'm loving it.

There are always 'situations' that arise that we need to deal with; good, bad, uncomfortable...but it's how we respond that makes the difference. The good makes us happy(?), the bad and uncomfortable - are usually learning & growth experiences that will arise every now and then (seasons).

Life is not easy, for anyone...but isn't that the point? Seek support, seek God, don't try to do it all your own.

My Road to Christ - Part 1

It all started one day in the year 2008, it was probably just the start of Spring. My husband, Victor and I were driving onto the highway and we noticed what looked like an empty bird’s nest in the middle of the road. Of course we avoided it and drove around it, but as we passed it – I felt Jesus. In that moment, the nest reminded me of Jesus’ crown if thorns. That’s when I knew I had to get back to Christ. I didn’t quite know how or even where to go, but I knew my journey to find out had to begin…

STOP & Be

Stop the craziness, if you want to remain sane

Stop judging, and leave that to God

Stop worrying, and pray

Stop controlling, your path is already paved

Be Yourself, a child of God, as He intended you to be

Be Happy, for He is in Control and will work out your obstacles

Be of God - repent, surrender, and be embraced by the power of our Lord and Savior!

Know that if you are a child of God, and try to live a Christlike life, it doesn't mean life will be easy - It may mean you will be stronger, better prepared, and know that Jesus will never leave your side no matter what you are going through. Living through Him you will be saved when He comes again!

The Way You Show Me That You Are There

Lord, you continue to show me you are there in so many ways.

While sitting in church, I imagined a friendly hand on my shoulder and next thing you know...

that's exactly what happened a few moments later and I was just overwhelmed with joy by you my Lord Jesus.

People around me are also coming to you in faith, wanting to be saved.

I can't help but feel like I want to help and be there for them as much as possible.

My God You are the Great High Priest indeed - our father, our savior.

I wasn't sure if I was on my right 'career' path, just as you reassured me and I was awarded a full scholarship.

Lord, I pray that others seek you first on their path through life. As we are here for a short time until we meet you in

everlasting life. If not for God's pleasure - what else are we here for? (To fulfill His purpose for us!)

I feel wonderful knowing you - as I get to learn more about you (and me) -

and I just want others to be saved and feel your Holy Spirit as I do.

Sharing "Trusting God" written by someone special to me.

Trusting God completely means having faith that he knows what is best for your life. You are not  alone as God is always standing by your side. Take a minute from your busy life, and invite Jesus into your heart, mind and soul as he is waiting for an invitation.

God died for us in the cross so our sins may be forgotten. You need to place your burdens, problems onto him and let God work things out instead of trying to manipulate, force your agenda and take control of the situation. Let go and Let God work. Surrender yourself to the Lord, and wait patiently for him. Always worship and praise the Almighty Father. Amen

What does it mean to give your life to Christ? (to me)

For me, this means...

 

To give yourself 100%, down to the core – YOU – the inside and outside. Don’t hold back. Let the transformation take place, for your eternal salvation. You are special and your salvation depends on you.

Letting Jesus take control of my life.

It means staying away from sinful lifestyles, a change of lifestyle.

The way you act, the way you think, the way you do things. You can’t control it all. Think of what Jesus would do or would want you to do in a given situation. Every thought / decision in life must come from putting Jesus first.

Let Him mold you into who you’re supposed to be, who he wants you to be. Circumstances happen sometimes to prepare us for something greater. We must realize if the way we are living is true to Christ in every way. Just close your eyes, open your arms and repent, confess, transform.

"Hair" Resignation - Yes Form Letter Style - LOL - Dorky Me

Hello -

Hope you are well :)

I'm writing to you as I close a chapter in my life. My "hair" chapter. I will be entering a vigorous nursing program on a scholarship and will need to make sure that I am on my toes at all times. This is my life career, I'm finally on the path that God has set out for me. This means no longer doing hair at all throughout the semester so that I can continue to keep my grades up to par. It has been a wonderful experience in my life for the past four years and I thank you for being a great client and friend. Of course we will keep in touch still, I hope :). Thank you in advance for for understanding. The best to you as well with your life's endevours!

God Has Paved the Way!

Thank you, my Lord and SAVIOR Jesus :-)

I believe you have a plan for everyone one of us and thank you for showing me that I am taking a step in the right direction. You have opened a door for me and for that I am grateful.

Grateful and thankful...through YOU I know that all things are possible.

I pray that you stay strong in my heart always. I understand that this life is just in passing and in preparation for an eternity with you, Lord, Jesus if we should be deserving.

I pray for my family and loved ones to also 'know' you, love you, and follow you.

My family and I have taken our relationship to the next level and we have developed a strong faithful-sharing connection. Although we are separated (only by distance), I feel like we are a larger part of each other's daily lives - so much closer - like never before.

Thank you God for this bond. We help each other grow with the Lord, learn more about our Holy Word in the Holy Bible as well as how to better deal with life's challenges in a whole new way - keeping Jesus in mind first - always.

I pray that we continue to walk in our faith, lovingly, caring, with our eyes open and aware - always trusting in God first.

Why Did The Chicken Cross The Road?

Why did the chicken cross the road?
Not to get to the other side. I have a different theory. I believe that the chicken saw opportunity and wanted to venture out and see what the other side had to offer. He knew there was more to life than just where he was. He wasn't afraid to cross over. I think some how he knew that he would be okay no matter what the outcome was. I admire that chicken. It took until now for me to realize what this question (riddle) really means. :)

How did I not know that getting to know Jesus would feel so good and so right?

Please keep me on the same path, your path, I pray;

 

Thank you God, thank you Jesus,

for such a life filled with love, and my love you for you continues to grow.

 

I felt like I was so ignorant and naive before, not looking into the word, just going to church and feeling that was good enough...

 

I thank you for showing me in your own miraculous ways that I could read and understand the Bible and come to you in good faith...

 

Looking to strengthen my faith, grow my love which is limitless.

 

Thank you for coming into the lives of my loved ones, I pray that you continue to come into all of our lives and show us all the righteous way, your way.

 

How many times can I thank thee? I know, for as much as you have done for all!

 

 

HE is So Good

God is good

When you’re mad, when you’re sad, God is good

When you’re struggling, when you’re suffering, God is good

He will keep you strong, he will get you through it, God is good

When you’re weak, when you’re down, God is good

This is only a test; our lives are ‘practice’, for what? For an eternal life with God, He is good. He’s preparing this special place which words can’t even describe, for all of us – if we shall be so worthy. Do you believe? Do you accept that Jesus, our savior died for us? To save us? Do you live in His name?

I’m sure trying, learning everyday – more and more – hungry to read and understand the holy bible because God is good, He is so good.  There still so much for me to learn, I pray that I stay on track and let him take my hand and do this right. You only have one life here, one chance, to make things right.

The disagreements caused by the problems that we think we have are just meaningless when you look at the big picture and our true purpose and path, to live a life with Christ in mind and heart first, before all. We all have a path, a purpose in addition to living a life with Christ…let’s pray about it and start living it up to the fullest. Let’s look back and this moment and always remember what’s most important and not let negative emotions distract or cloud our minds and hearts. Let’s stay pure and true to what we believe, now and always.

Philosophize

So I can’t help to think about how beautiful it is outside and how I would rather be out there than be here stuck at work.

Hmm, I will sit here and pretend that I’m in a large open field of daisies like Alice in Wonderland and just let my imagination run…

What if … I didn’t have to work for anyone else? What would I do?

Just act like … there are no worries in the world? What would I do?

I would lie upon the bed of flowers as the warm wind gently blew against my face and as the sun warmed my skin just thinking about this beautiful creation called Earth.

My ‘job’ would be mostly charity work, helping others find work, childcare, education, food, shelter, etc. Preparing children for the future in an after school program teaching them about different professions and of course about Jesus Christ our savior and God, our father.

If only I didn’t have to live to work and I can actually work to live a life of my choosing, of the Lord’s choosing. Perhaps I should realize that I am exactly where God wants me to be at this moment in my life. Just show me the way and I will follow.

I just wanted to share that I've been reading excerpts from "The Purpose Driven Life" and so many points are true. The fact is we need to look for God for guidance, for our purpose and if you already know than you're a big step ahead. If you don't know your true purpose, pray about it. There is a blueprint for everyone. I'm not talking about careers, passions, though they may be part of it - your purpose, the reason why you're here.

 

Don't be afraid to challenge yourself, take smart risks. If you don't - you'll never know!

Although we are apart, just know that when you look up into the sky and see the moon and the stars that it's only distance that separates us, I'm in your heart and only a phone call away, I love you to the moon and back and no one will ever take that away.
